STUDIO WORK: The head, hands and boots are sculpted in clay, All are original in design and no two are alike. Each piece is fired for durability and pigments and colors are painstakingly added to create a realistic skin tone. The eyes are glass and give each Santa a life-like gleam.
The head, hands and boots are attached to a padded body frame. Each costume is handmade with great attention to detail to bring out the unique personality of each Santa. Beards and hair are made by applying mohair or alpaca hair by hand one layer at a time until each Santa has a glorious abundance of hair
Toys, packages, Christmas greenery, and additional accessories are added to create the final touches.
Each piece is signed by the Artist and dated. After a final inspection, each Santa is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery.
